James was born in the UK but now calls Maun home. He is co-author of Wildlife Photography in Botswana – A practical guide which makeds him the perfect host for our Better Wildlife Photography courses held every month.

Paul Brehem

Paul is the go-to guy for the BBC while they film their epic series in Africa. He is responsible for all the still photography during their productions and has been to some of the most challenging locations imaginable.

 

Pepe Jones

Pepe is a well qualified and charming photographic guide specialising in Namibia and Madagascar. She is a birding fundi and her extensive knowledge of Namibia means she will be spear heading our new safari for 2013 “Portraits and Landscapes of Namibia”.

Grant Atkinson

Grant Atkinson is a guide, a wildlife photographer and a writer. He lives with his wife Helena in Cape Town. He is an enthusiastic lover of nature in all its forms and has travelled widely in southern Africa as well as to places like Alaska, India and the Galapagos for wildlife. He enjoys working with photographers of all skill levels, and no question is too basic.

Tertius has been birding since he can remember, and started taking photographs of birds shortly thereafter. So there was not a life-defining moment that started it all, birding and bird photography is his life!
